Meet the team which run AFD Vocal & Performance Coaching. Our Team of teachers have experience in teaching students of all ages, abilities and needs. Amy, the founder of AFD Vocal & Performance Coaching has had experience in musicals from a young age. Performing in Billy Elliot in London for many years. Shannon has experience teaching people of all needs and is a fully qualified teacher specalising in Special Educational Needs and Disability.
Amy – Director of AFD Singing, Vocal and Performance Coach
Amy had the fantastic opportunity perform the role of ‘Debbie’ in Billy Elliot The Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre, London where her career in the Performing Arts began. She was also offered a Scholarship placement at a London full time Theatre School. She furthered her Musical Theatre studies at The BRIT School of Performing Arts, London and then onto KSA Trinity College London where she achieved a Professional Musical Theatre Performer qualification. Amy has been teaching performing arts for 5 years, specialising in vocal technique and performance coaching from ages 3 – 70! Amy currently teaches a wide range of students across the North East.
Shannon – Vocal and Performance Coach
Shannon began her performing arts journey from a young age, performing in various different productions in her hometown of Peterborough. Shannon has vast experience of vocal performing alongside gaining her BA (Hons) in Performing Arts and PGCE. Shannon also has an RSL Rockschool Qualification. Shannon has vast tutoring experience in the performing arts industry and she is a qualified teacher specialising in SEND. Shannon currently is the choreographer for Alice Cooper’s Nightmare in addition to choreographing other theatre productions in the North East.
