Singing lessons for adults are individually prepared based on age, experience and ability. Whether you are having singing lessons for the first time or you would like expand preexisting skills, you will work on basic vocal technique, performance skills and extending the vocal range. At this stage, classes are generally more advanced and encourage you to develop interests in various genres such as; Contemporary and Classic Musical Theatre, Pop, Rock, Folk, Country, Jazz and many more. Throughout the classes, you can expect to be introduced to vocal technique such as:

- Vocal clarity
- Estill six vocal qualities
- Advanced vocal health
- Jaw and palate placement
Singing lessons will expose you to:

Teachers will help you to make a repertoire folder filled with all of the songs you have learnt in your lessons. Your folder will have songs from varying genres and will be pieces you are comfortable and confident singing. Many students over 16 enjoy utilising their skills by performing in public. Teachers can help you find appropriate performance events in the North East.
The main aims of the singing lessons are to boost confidence and to have fun alongside learning new skills. There is no upper age limit because it is never too late to start singing lessons. LCM Music Theatre and Popular Music Vocals examinations are available. You can discuss this more with your teacher.
