AFD Vocal & Performance Coaching aim to deliver high quality, professional training. In order to make sure that everything runs safely and smoothly, there are a few rules that must be adhered to. Please have a read through of the terms and conditions to find out more about AFD’s policies and guidelines.
One to one and group lessons run on a weekly basis, once you have this slot this will be the same every week. AFD have a 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY, any lessons cancelled after this time will be chargeable at the weekly lesson rate. All lesson fess must be paid 24 hours prior to the lesson to avoid unnecessary planning and preparation if the student fails to attend. Lesson fees should be paid via bank transfer with student’s name and date of lesson as reference. Please let AFD know as soon as possible if you need to cancel a lesson via email at info@afdsinging.co.uk.
If students wish to take photography/voice recordings/videos during a lesson they must ask permission before hand and must not upload to social media if other students are in the frame/recording unless permission has been granted first. This is to ensure that all safeguarding guidelines are being met. Students must not use any footage/photos/recordings taken by/for AFD for any other teachers/schools/organisations use. Any events, competitions, exams for singing/voice will be entered via AFD Vocal & Performance Coaching only unless otherwise discussed. Please note that if the student attends other lessons/schools/organisations and they wish to enter into competitions in a vocal/singing category this must be discussed with AFD before submission and students must list AFD Vocal & Performance Coaching as their voice/singing training. This is to avoid plagiarism and also to give AFD the credit it deserves. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination of lessons.

Students MUST NOT share water bottles, food, pens and so on with other students to avoid spread! All equipment used in lessons will be cleaned frequently. Please do not attend lesson if you feel too ill to sing, in particular if you have a sore throat or any other illness that could affect the voice. Please get in touch as soon as possible to either move your lesson onto zoom or to rearrange your lesson to another day when you are feeling better.
